Factors To Consider Before Applying:

  • Inclusiveness. Laurelbrook Academy welcomes students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin whose principles and interests are in harmony with those of the school.
  • To maintain a Family Environment, we have chosen to keep Laurelbrook a small school, accepting a maximum of 50 students annually. 
  • Membership in the Seventh-day Adventist Church is not required, but it is understood that every student who is accepted, pledges to observe the regulations of the school.

Break schedule

Agree to be involved in vocational activities for 5 weeks of the summer program. 

Agree to the following break schedule:

  • 3-5 weeks off during the Summer (depending on financial aid received)
  • 1 week off during the Fall Break
  • 2 weeks off during Winter Break
  • 1 week off during Spring Break

  2. Read the Student Handbook and Standards Handbook (both applicant and guardian).
  3. Submit transcripts (download the Transcript Request Form here)
  4. Submit 3 recommendations (from a teacher, a pastor, and a non relative)
  5. Complete the interview process via video call (we would schedule it).

Once Accepted (before arrival):

  1. School sends both Acceptance and Financial Expectations letters 
  2. Submit the following:

Upon Arrival:

  1. Take placement tests in Math and English before school starts.
